Bakketunet is one of the key locations at Indiefjord. Beautiful old farm houses, knitwear shop Hjørundfjordstrikk and yummy wood-fired pizzas and cake – and of course the Sunday daytime stage.
This year, there is an exhibition on by Marita Bett Aakre and Anne Mari Akslen, "Trådar av Marie" ("Threads of Marie"). The exhibition is linked to the novel with the same name by Ole-Ragnar Riise. The book is based on the life of Marie, who lived in Bakketunet.
Bakketunet is open Saturday and Sunday 12-18. You can also book a tent space there if you'd like to stay in the most beautiful surroundings.
