Volunteering at Indiefjord

We’ve got such a lovely team of volunteers at Indiefjord, and would like to add a few more members to the gang!

Email us on info@indiefjord.com or send us a message on here if this could be you:

– Do you want to be a “guard” at the concert venue, Haukly, either on the Saturday or Sunday evening? – Alternatively, can you be a guard at the welcome party Friday 10 July?

You’ll be wearing a yellow vest and your main job is to make sure that our guests behave well, but having friendly conversations that make the guests enjoy the evening is a bonus part of the job!

If you’re a guard on one of the evenings you get the other festival day off, and also earlier in the day if you’re “just” a guard. You of course get the full Indiefjord weekend ticket.

If you are able to help out more, that’s of course greatly appreciated, but not a must if you can only do guard duty. Odd jobs include rigging the festival or tidying up on the Monday, carrying chairs to Notanaustet boathouse, helping out at the waterfall hike making sure everyone gets up to the waterfall and down again, cleaning Haukly on the Sunday, inflating a giant unicorn, sorting out the equipment for the silent disco or handing out wristbands at Indiefjord HQ.

Did we mention that we have a super fun volunteer party on the Thursday evening when Indie Mum makes soup and Eirik Strandabø plays the ukulele? It’s a great way to kick-start the Indiefjord weekend and if you’re a volunteer your name is on the guest list!

PS: You don’t need to know how to speak Norwegian to be a volunteer! You’ll get by well with English.
