The godfather of Swedish indie is coming to Indiefjord!
We’re thrilled to let you know that Mattias Alkberg (SE) is playing Haukly Saturday 11 July.
This booking wouldn’t have happened without Indiefjord friend Kristian Petterson – we are very grateful to him for reaching out to Mattias in the first place to tell him about our little festival. Kristian explains just why this booking is so special: “Mattias Alkberg channels culture like no one else. He floats freely between different genres.
With a punk mentality and the curiosity of a child, he constantly has a new project in the works – an album, a collection of poems, a theatre performance, a film. You name it. Including the time fronting the legendary indie band The Bear Quartet, other band constellations and his solo career, Alkberg has released over 30 albums. Let that sink in.
Now Alkberg comes to Indiefjord to play gems from his massive catalogue.
