Sometime during the Covid years we stumbled across a gem of a song – Girl on TV.
Ever since then we’ve been hoping to one day book Veps (NO) to play Indiefjord.
And now they will be playing the Haukly stage Saturday 11 July!
Veps is a young four-piece band from Oslo. They are in their early twenties, yet their coming-of age songs amazingly have a ‘90s sound – combined with shimmering (indie)pop hooks, of course. The vocals move the listeners to tears, then they’ll break into a smile and a dance the next second.
Veps got signed to Kanine Records in 2021, and now they’re on legendary Swedish label PNKSLM Recordings.
They have played festivals such as The Great Escape Festival (UK), Øyafestivalen, by:Larm, Reeperbahn Festival (Germany), Trænafestivalen, Vill Vill Vest, Trondheim Calling and many others.
It's clear to see they’ve got a very, very bright future ahead!
