(EN) is playing an acoustic set on the M/S Polarstar stage Sunday 13 July, and we're really looking forward to it!
Pete Green grew up in the former fishing town of Grimsby, UK and their fascination with rivers, seas and coastlines continues to inform their creative output. As a musician Pete’s solo work spans right back to the mid-2000s, when their debut single ‘Everything I Do is Gonna be Sparkly’ was played on BBC Radio 1 and made the sound go wonky.
More recently Pete’s energies have focused largely on their poetry and their current band Pink Opaque, so Indiefjord 2025 represents a rare chance to see them play a solo live set.
Expect fluctuations between warm, twinkling last-gasp love songs and upbeat acoustic indiepop laced with northern English humour, with references to walking and whisky, trains, tiny miracles, lower-division football and other impossible things.
