(SE) is a Malmö-based quartet led by Alina Björkén. Contributing to the legacy of intricate Swedish indie rock and pop, Tiny Oceans highlights the vulnerabilities inherent in work, relations and the hellscape of contemporary political conditions. Since forming in 2022, they have played frequently throughout Sweden and its surroundings.
Basing their songs off of the frail part of the 90s/early 00s era Pacific Northwest, Tiny Oceans should appeal to fans of mid-era Sleater-Kinney, Grass Widow and early Modest Mouse.
Alina's vocals remind us of fellow swede Annika Norlin (Säkert/Hello Saferide) – one of many things that makes Tiny Oceans a perfect Indiefjord band!
