We’re very happy to fulfil our Team Indiefjord member Øyvind’s band wish.
He made us aware of Dancing the Conga (NO) earlier this year, and we were totally won over by their music.
Dancing the Conga’s music is for fans of Norwegian indie musicians Simen Mitlid and Benedikt (both having played Indiefjord in the past).
Musically they have been described as “newpunk centred around friendship”.
We’ve heard that Dancing the Conga were amazing at Bergtattfestivalen in 2023 (and apparently they’re playing there, too, this year – maybe you can make it to both festivals?).
We’ve got super high expectations of their Saturday evening set at Haukly!
