In 2024, Red Sleeping Beauty made us all dance and smile like crazy at Haukly. We’re so happy to let you know that their lead singer, Niklas Angergård (SE), is returning to Bjørke this year!
Not only is he playing a set at Haukly with Italo disco band Milano Flash – he is playing a solo set at Notanaustet boathouse on the Saturday afternoon.
Another band Niklas is known from is none other than the legendary Acid House Kings, of Labrador Records fame. This band is the definition of “Swedish indiepop”. In his Notanaustet set, Niklas will be playing songs from both Red Sleeping Beauty and Acid House Kings. This will be a moment of indiepop history, because Acid House Kings last played live in Singapore in 2013. Now you can hear some of their songs live again in Bjørke! We truly can’t wait.
